Board of Director Changes
Mindoro Resources Ltd. (MIO:TSX-V) advises that Dr. Roger Morton and Mr. Reid Toreson have resigned as Directors of Mindoro. The Board of Directors wish to thank Dr. Morton and Mr. Toreson for their valuable contributions to Mindoro over the past eight years. Assuming the positions vacated by Dr. Morton and Mr. Toreson, Mindoro is pleased to announce the addition of Marshall L. Farris and Peter Draper to its Board of Directors and the appointment of Dr. Gerhard Kirchner as Mindoro's Chairman.

Mr. Farris is a co-founder and Principle of Ascenta Capital Partners Inc., an Investor Relations consulting firm providing strategic counsel, investor relations planning, investor and media outreach and corporate communications services to Canadian public companies. During the past fourteen years, Mr. Farris has assisted numerous public and private companies with their corporate operations, capital development, investor relations, and regulatory compliance activities. Concurrent to his role at Ascenta, Mr. Farris also serves as an Officer and Director of Panoro Minerals Ltd., a TSX Venture Exchange listed mining exploration company.

Mr. Draper is the owner of East West Drilling (L) Limited, a contract drilling company and is a major shareholder of Mindoro. Mr. Draper has a long association with the mining industry in Australia and South East Asia, and was a former director of Egerton Gold NL, an Australian junior mining company. He has played a key role in assembling the very strong land position that we are earning into in the Batangas Province, which includes the very promising Lobo and Archangel Projects.

"Peter brings to Mindoro an extensive network of contacts in the Australasian region, strong business skills and boundless energy and enthusiasm, and I am extremely pleased to have him on the Board. These changes to our Board greatly strengthen and enhance Mindoro's management structure as the company moves into the exciting phase of advancing several of its projects through the resource delineation and evaluation stage," commented Tony Climie.

Mindoro's new Chairman, Dr. Kirchner, has been a Director of Mindoro since 1996. His 40 years of international mine development and management includes 20 years with Uranerz Exploration and Mining Limited in senior executive positions where he was responsible for the Key Lake uranium discovery, as well as the engineering and development of projects such as the Midwest uranium deposit, Eagle Point North uranium deposit, Star Lake gold deposit and the Crow Butte ISL uranium deposit. Prior to that, he had mine development and management/engineering experience in Zaire, Surinam, Nigeria, Congo, Greenland, Denmark and Saudi Arabia. Dr Kirchner has played a pivotal role in assembling Mindoro's very strong project portfolio. His engineering and mine development expertise will be invaluable as Mindoro advances its projects from the current resource-evaluation stage through feasibility and development.
