Further Drill Results From Lobo
- 4.24 Grams Per Tonne (g/t) Gold Over 56.20 Meters (m) in LB-25
- including: 7.71 g/t gold over 28.40 m
Tony Climie, P. Geol., President of Mindoro Resources Ltd. ("Mindoro"), and a "qualified
person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101, is pleased to advise results for hole LB-25
from the Lobo Project ("Lobo"), Batangas Province, Philippines.
Hole LB-25, was drilled on Section 10,155N at an angle of 75 degrees grid west, to test the
down-dip extension of mineralization intersected in hole LB-24 (7.75 g/t gold over 16.30 m,
including 16.49 g/t gold over 7.05 m). LB-25, drilled obliquely across the down-dip direction (see
the accompanying drill section), intersected 4.24 g/t gold over 56.20 m from 39.60 m to 95.80 m
(true width approximately 15 m), including 7.71 g/t gold over 28.40 m from 67.40 m to 95.80 m.
A 2.75 m interval from 70 to 72.75 m assayed 2.17% copper, 4.31 g/t gold and 40.20 g/t silver.
Hole LB-25 confirms that gold mineralization continues strongly down--dip on this section.
The drill holes on section 10,155N complete the drilling out of the main part of the SW Breccia
ore-shoot at an adequate drill-sample density to enable a resource calculation. This will be
commissioned in the near future to establish the near-surface gold resource at SW Breccia.
Drilling is in progress to test the potential extension of SW Breccia further north. Drilling will then
extend to the West Drift resource (release of Feb.17, 2004), plus other epithermal gold targets
at Lobo, and the porphyry copper-gold target between West Drift and SW Breccia (release of
Jan. 4, 2004).
Drill sections for SW Breccia, together with a map showing the location of all drill holes, and a
complete list of results, will be posted on Mindoro's website (www.mindoro.com) in the near
